FAQ

Q. What does The Kind Acts Foundation do?
A. The sole purpose of the foundation is to offer PK-12 teachers a simple and free way to honor their students for acts of kindness. You will receive a personalized certificate and a Kind Acts lapel pin for presentation to the child by making your request on our Honor A Student link. There are many ways to recognize kids for kind deeds. The Kind Acts Foundation is one of them.

Q: Do I need to sign up or register to use the Kind Acts service?
A: No. To get started, just make your request(s) on the Honor A Student link at www.KindActs.org. Your school becomes a Participating School as soon as one teacher uses our service.

Q: Is there a charge for this service?
A: No. This is a free service to teachers. We are a privately funded non-profit organization.

Q: Is the Kind Acts program available in all 50 States?
A: Yes. The Paul Harvey radio spot in October, 2004 gave us a real boost.

Q. Is your site secure?
A. Yes. In addition, we offer you the option of providing the student's last initial only -- or not providing a student last name at all.

Q. How do you decide what is a kind act and what isn't?
A. We leave that entirely up to you. We respect your judgment and we honor all requests for a certificate and lapel pin.

Q. How do I determine what is a suitable kind act?
A. If you think it is a kind act, then we're quite sure it is as well. We'd like to help you honor that child.
