FAQ
Q. What does The Kind Acts Foundation do?
A. The sole purpose of the foundation is to offer PK-12 teachers a simple and free way to honor their students for acts of kindness. You will receive a personalized certificate and a Kind Acts sticker for presentation to the child by making your request on our Honor A Student link. There are many ways to recognize kids for kind deeds. The Kind Acts Foundation is one of them.
Q: Do I need to sign up or register to use the Kind Acts service?
A: No. To get started, just make your request(s) on the Honor A Student link at www.KindActs.org.
Q: Is there a charge for this service?
A: No. This is a free service to teachers. We are a privately funded non-profit organization.
Q. Is your site secure?
A. Yes. In addition, we offer you the option of providing the student's last initial only -- or not providing a student last name at all.
Q. How do you decide what is a kind act and what isn't?
A. We leave that entirely up to you. We respect your judgment and we honor all requests for a certificate and sticker.
Q. How do I determine what is a suitable kind act?
A. If you think it is a kind act, then we're quite sure it is as well. We'd like to help you honor that child.
Q. Do you accept dontations?
A. Yes. We have partnered with Groundspring.org to make online donations easy and secure. Click on the Donate button below. Or your check can be sent to the Kind Acts Foundation, Box 521388, Salt Lake City, UT 84152-1388. |
